The School of Education Career Center assists students and alumni in developing their career and professional identity and empowers them to make informed career decisions through life’s transitions.

The Center’s approach to career development is educational. The Career Center does not “place” students in positions — rather, the Center provides them with the fundamentals of how to begin and advance their careers.

Through individual appointments, events and online resources the Career Center provides students and alumni with the tools needed to build their resumes, conduct job searches, interview, negotiate salary, etc.  In the ever-changing world of work, these are essential skills for professional success.
