Career and Internship Fair (Fall & Spring)
This campus-wide fair is held at the Kohl Center each fall and spring. In the fall, more than 300 employers attend and are seeking students from a wide range of majors and career areas.
How can it help me?
- Learn more about a large number of companies in a short time. Better establish your sense of what a “good fit” might be.
- Learn about companies’ open positions and application procedures.
- Interview for open positions. Many recruiters conduct initial interviews or make job offers.
Public Service Fair (Fall & Spring)
This is a campus-wide fair specifically for organizations whose focus is public service positions. It is held at Union South each fall and spring.
How can it help me?
- If you’re interested in working in a public service position, this fair gives you a great opportunity to learn what organizations have open positions.
- Provides an opportunity to network with employers and advance your job search.

Multicultural Career and Internship Fair (Fall & Spring)
The Multicultural Career and Internship Fair is a chance for employers to recruit a diverse group of students for full-time employment and internships. All majors are welcome and employers will be recruiting for a variety of fields. The fair is held during fall semester at Union South.
How can it help me?
- Meet a large number of employers and determine what companies might be a good fit for you.
- Wide variety of employers looking for employees from all kinds of backgrounds.
- Potentially have interviews or job offers.
Advertising & Communications Career Fair (Spring)
This fair is a chance for all students interested in a career in advertising, marketing, public relations, journalism, communications, digital media and more to network with employers.
How can it help me?
- Connect with 40+ employers from across the country.
- Learn about job and internship opportunities.

K-12 Education Fairs
Wisconsin Education Recruitment Fair (WERF)
WERF is a great opportunity for teacher and administrator candidates to meet with school district representatives from Wisconsin and beyond. It is the statewide educator recruitment fair co-sponsored by career services from Wisconsin higher education institutions with teacher education programs. Students will find further details and be able to register for this annual spring fair using their Handshake account.
