Our health-related programs prepare students to improve individual and community well-being through education, research, and service. Spanning areas such as kinesiology, health promotion and health equity, physical education, and rehabilitation psychology, these programs equip graduates to advance health, enhance quality of life, and make a meaningful impact across diverse populations and settings.
Kinesiology
The Kinesiology program examines the science of human movement, health, and physical activity. Through interdisciplinary coursework and hands-on learning, students develop a deep understanding of exercise, performance, and wellness, preparing them for careers in healthcare, rehabilitation, fitness, research, and related fields.


Health Promotion & Health Equity
The Health Promotion & Health Equity program prepares students to address the social, behavioral, and environmental factors that influence health and well-being. Through interdisciplinary learning and community engagement, students develop the skills to promote health, advance equity, and create positive change in diverse populations and communities.
Rehabilitation Psychology
The Rehabilitation Psychology program prepares students to support individuals with disabilities, chronic health conditions, and other life challenges in achieving meaningful participation in work, education, and community life. Through interdisciplinary coursework and experiential learning, students develop the skills to promote inclusion, advocate for accessibility, and enhance quality of life across diverse settings.
