Art Education
The Art Education program prepares creative and socially engaged educators through a blend of studio art, teaching practice, and research. Students develop the skills to inspire artistic expression, foster critical thinking, and make meaningful contributions in schools, museums, community organizations, and other learning environments.


Educational Policy Studies
Educational Policy Studies explores how education shapes society and how policies influence learning opportunities and outcomes. Through interdisciplinary study of history, philosophy, sociology, and policy, students develop the knowledge and skills to address complex educational challenges and advance equity and innovation in education.
Elementary Education
The Elementary Education program prepares future teachers to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of young learners. Through hands-on classroom experiences, strong pedagogical training, and a commitment to equity and inclusion, students develop the skills to create engaging learning environments and make a lasting impact in elementary schools.


Physical Education
The Physical Education program prepares future educators to promote lifelong health, physical activity, and wellness. Through hands-on teaching experiences, evidence-based instruction, and a focus on inclusive learning environments, students gain the skills to inspire healthy lifestyles and support the physical development of learners of all ages.
Special Education
The Special Education program prepares future educators to support students with diverse learning, behavioral, and developmental needs. Through comprehensive coursework, field-based experiences, and a commitment to inclusive practices, students develop the skills to create equitable learning environments and help all learners reach their full potential.
