Midwest Aspiring Physicians Conference
Join us at the Midwest Aspiring Physicians Conference on Saturday November 14th, from 8:30am-3:15pm to learn about physician experiences, medical school admissions, and what it is like to be a medical student. There is also a resource fair with information about student organizations and gaining clinical and research experience, all at the Health Sciences Learning Center (750 Highland Ave). Questions are welcome and encouraged, and the event is FREE to all undergraduates at UW Madison.
MAP is a great opportunity to learn more medicine, network, and get involved on campus! Feel free to come for all or part of the day. Enjoy FREE food throughout the day, coffee and bagels for breakfast, Ian’s Pizza for lunch, and complimentary BUBBL’R beverages. Please bring your own refillable water bottle to help reduce waste.
We’ll also offer free professional headshots during registration, and everyone who attends will be entered into a raffle giveaway for a brand new anki remote, free Kaplan MCAT course, and MORE. You are eligible to win the raffle if you stay the entirety of the conference!
Dress code: Business casual (name tags provided).
Bring: Your Wiscard for attendance and a notebook and pen/pencil for note-taking. (We ask that you refrain from using iPads or laptops to stay engaged with our speakers and panels)
